Signs of upcoming delivery can be the following:
- You lose a little bit of blood;
- You lose amniotic fluid;
- You have regular contractions.
Contact your midwife or gynaecologist, if you have 1 or more of these signs, or if you are worried.

Caesarean section
A caesarean section means the baby is born through an operation via the abdominal wall. There are various medical reasons for a caesarean section.
In the case of a planned caesarean section: the gynaecologist and you make a decision together about the day on which you will deliver.
